Louis Armstrong (Born on 1901-1971) was American trumpet virtuoso, composer and vocalist, who is considered to be one of the most influential musicians in the jazz history. His creative work counts 5 decades and this period of time is considered to be a vital period for the development of jazz. Louis Armstrong was born and grew up in New Orleans, in 1920 he appeared on the musical stage. In 1920s Armstrong moved to Chicago to join Joe Oliver's – his own mentor’s band.
After cooperation with Joe Oliver, he decided to move to New York to work, where he joined Fletcher Hendersons’s band. Thanks to his special talent and stage charisma, gaining popularity was not difficult for Louis Armstrong. Furthermore, he was the main musical figure of his generation, which determined the future of Jazz eternally. Particular attention was paid to the improvisational talent and performance techniques of Louis Armstrong. He did not stop interacting with music until his death and his concerts were always a special musical celebration for the listeners.
