Nile Rodgers performed at the jubilee of Elizabeth II
In 2022, the 70th anniversary of the reign of Elizabeth II, or the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, was celebrated in the United Kingdom. From June 2–5, various events took place across the country. Part of these events were musical performances, for which musicians from around the world have been invited.
Nile Rogers was also honored to perform on the Buckingham Palace stage. He shared behind-the-scenes footage via his Youtube:

Nile Rogers is an American musician, songwriter, producer, and co-founder of the band Chic, whose creative career spans 50 years. The first success of his career dates back to the ’70s when he co-wrote popular songs with his band, such as I Want Your Love, Le Freak, Dance, Dance, Dance; Good Times; and featured composition with Daft Punk - Get Lucky. Although Nile Rogers was primarily a disco and funk performer, his compositions had a major impact on determining the future of pop music.
