The German rock band Scorpions is already perceived as one of the legends of rock music by many music lovers. The band's most famous hit - "Winds of Change," which was inspired by the political changes taking place in Eastern Europe during the 1980s and 90s, soon became an unofficial anthem of those changes and the fall of the Berlin Wall. The composition's popularity went beyond the borders of Europe and soon became one of the best-selling singles worldwide with 14 million copies sold. With many outstanding hits and over 100 million albums sold, the Scorpions remain one of the most distinctive and successful European rock bands to this day.
